At Outpost we provide a range of activities designed to challenge you, help you grow as a person, try new things, and of course enjoy yourself!

You will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities such as:

• Visiting the Baltic art gallery

• Being involved in LGBT History Month

• Going to see a show at the theatre

• Ice skating

• Rock climbing

• Sponsored walks

• Meals out

• Coffee mornings

• Cinema trips

• Day trips to places like Alton Towers

• Residential trips to places like Kielder or the Lake District (to view the pictures from our lastest trip to Lakeside YMCA, please click here).

We also take part in Northern Pride each year and you will be invited along to help carry the banner in the parade, create a costume to wear, or just come along to be “out and proud” as we join the thousands marching the streets of Newcastle. 

There are other events that you might want to come along to such as making a minute’s noise in support of International Day against Homophobia (IDAHO).

We’ll ask you what type of activities you are interested in, and we’ll do our best to organise the sorts of things that you and the other young people involved with Outpost like to do.

So, if there’s something you have always wanted to try, tell us, and you never know, you might get the chance to have a go!
