Training Packages
The Outpost Project provides accommodation and ongoing support for homeless young people in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. In addition to this nationally acclaimed work, Outpost now supplies training of the highest calibre for social housing providers - and for other organisations and sectors.
This is not just training about what we do. If you need to find out more about what we do then we'll come and talk to you or put on a presentation. We do good presentations too!
No. Outpost training is about you, your people, your organisation and your customers, and we know from the feedback we have received that our training will enable you all to:
-
Recognise the challenges that a person's sexual orientation presents to them in daily work and life
-
Recognise the implications (including the significant cost implications) that these challenges bring to you and your organisation
-
Identify and apply cost-effective strategies that will benefit everyone concerned: personally, professionally and financially
Our training develops:
- Sensitivity in dealing with people
- Proactivity and practicality in dealing with issues
- Excellent coordinated teamwork within and outside your organisation to deliver lasting, low-cost and high value solutions for you and your customers
