 Fundraiser Buys Microwaves!

Last year Lynsey Appleby decided to shave off her dreadlocks to raise money for Outpost. See Outpost's 'More News' section for the full story.

She raised just under £500 which is an amazing amount, and as a result won an Outpost Oscar in January 12 for 'The Most Inventive Fundraiser' award.

She decided that she would like the funds raised to go towards equiping all our flats with microwaves, as this was something Outpost didn't provide as standard.

So the microwaves have been purchased and will soon be distributed to the flats.  

 Meet Elsie!

This is Elsie MacOutpost, the Highland Cow.

She is planning on walking the West Highland Way, a 96 mile walk taking 9 days (with Heather from Outpost), starting on Monday 18th June this year.

She spends her free time at the Outpost offices 'helping' Heather with her work.
